Bio

Sam is a Graduate of the University of Missouri, Kansas City, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Political Science and a minor in Economics. He attended law school as well at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, where he graduated on the Dean’s list while working as a real estate agent and supporting his wife and family. While in law school, Sam was the Dean of the Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity as well as the President of the Federalist Society. Since becoming a member of the Missouri and Tennessee Bars in 2005, Sam has been active in many aspects of the legal community, but he is most proud of his involvement as a district coordinator and team coach for the Tennessee high school Mock Trial competition.

Although beginning his legal career serving indigent defendants in General Sessions and Juvenile courts for Williamson County, Sam’s practice has become focused on civil litigation, most often involving residential real estate disputes. He has represented builders, contractors, homeowners, real estate agents, landlords, tenants and more. Sam has also engaged in litigation on behalf of consumers and businesses as well as representing plaintiffs and defendants related to personal injury disputes.

Sam spent nearly 12 years working of counsel to the firm of Sidwell and Barrett, P.C. in Franklin before founding West Main Legal associates in January of 2018. Sam’s real estate experience, both as a real estate agent and investor, were essential in the development of the West Main legal Associates facility and serve him well as a lawyer representing parties involved in real estate related litigation.
